CHOP STICKS

If you’re not nimble fingered enough to use hashi (chop sticks), not to worry, most places have silverware readily available.


Be advised, there are rules of etiquette that go along with the use of hashi, such as, don’t point at objects with your hashi, it is considered rude,  There are other social gaffes, such as sticking them upright in rice… apparently associated with a funeral rite.
